The Food Heritage Foundation (FHF) is a Lebanese non-profit organization aiming at the conservation of indigenous knowledge through the preservation, documentation, and revival of traditional foods. Since its inception in 2005, FHF has been partnering with women and farmers in remote villages, archiving traditional recipes and providing a channel to sell larder products (mouneh) to urban consumers.

Mission: To document and revive the traditional cuisine and local produce and promote the livelihoods of rural producers and processors through rural-urban linkages

The collected funds will be used to sustain the foundation’s activities and support a larger pool of women, small-farmers and producers in rural areas
