Aita Al Shaab

Ladies and Gentlemen, the owners of good hands

The town of Aita al-Shaab in southern Lebanon has more than 70% of its population depending on the cultivation of tobacco in their source of income. This village is considered one of the most affected villages in South of Lebanon. Poor families can not afford tuition, books, stationery and school bags.

In one school there are 42 students unable to pay the registration costs.

The cost of 42 students enrollment and purchase of school bags, stationery books, transportation to and from the school, school fees and purchasing textbooks is $ 22,530.

We contribute to secure the amount required for the next school year for the education of these kids, the future generation of Aita- Al Shaab.

Thank you for educating our Lebanese population.

ABOUT HELPFORLEB.Com

With support from USAid, PACE and Nabad Incubator, HelpForLeb project was selected to create the first Lebanese crowd-funding platform to channel financial donations from the vast Lebanese diasporas and Lebanese locals to social, environmental, and humanitarian causes and NGOs in Lebanon. There are an estimated 20 million Lebanese living across the globe (ref-Wikipedia) —about five times the size of the population in Lebanon. Many Lebanese expatriates remain connected to their families and native villages. The online hub will channel their love for their country into active support for a cause or organization, thus enabling them to contribute to solving some of the country’s causes.
